About FOTH

We are a small group of people from Melbourne with personal connections to Ethiopia. We started the project in 2014 and have been joined by others along the way. We aim to build a school and facilitate sustainable land management in a remote mountain community of Ethiopia. We value anyone’s support and invite you to get involved and follow our journey.

Our project encompasses a broad vision which includes education to several hundred children who currently have no access to schooling, protection and conservation of the local forest, permaculture and sustainable land management training and adult education. We are welcoming and enthusiastic include anyone who would like to contribute in any manner.
